THE CHALLENGE & OUR SOLUTION

Protecting Patrons Without The Long Lines To Get Inside

High-throughput metal detectors help public venues move large crowds through security quickly while maintaining a strong level of protection. Faster screening reduces long lines, crowding, and wait times at entrances, creating a smoother and more positive guest experience. These systems can also reduce the need for guests to remove personal items before screening. By improving traffic flow and allowing security staff to focus on potential threats, high-throughput detectors provide an efficient, secure, and convenient screening solution.

From single unit rentals to multiple unit deployments, our regional teams cover every location nationwide. Every engagement includes hands on orientation & support.

“Flexible, understanding, and willing to walk us through every option with regards to fan screening”

VP, Ballpark Operations
MLB Angels Baseball

Please allow this letter to serve as a business reference for Security Detection, and their vast array of services.  Security Detection and Randy Smith have been a valued partner of Angels Baseball for over five years, dating back to our original implementation of our Garrett Metal Detectors.  In addition to the 81+ major league baseball games a year, they have also partnered with ABLP on many other events, including Supercross and Monster Jam.

Randy and his team have always been flexible, understanding, and willing to walk us through every option with regards to fan screening, safety, ingress, layout and overall experience of the detection process.  Most recently , we considered making a switch from Garrett magnetometers to Evolv, and because of Security Detections’s expertise, we have now fully integrated Evolv into our ingress flow for all Angel Games and special events.  Our most recent deployment of the new Evolv equipment was during our last four, sold-0ut  Monster Jam shows of February 2022.  Our lines of previous years were shorter than 5 minutes, during a period  when we were tasked with an ingress of 40,000 guest over over the course of one hour and thirty minutes, which was a resounding success.

Angels Baseball is proud to offer one of the best family experiences in baseball.  This is achieved through hiring, training, retention and treating employees like they are part of our extended family.  It is key to our operation that partners are aligned with our mission, and this alone is one of the reasons Randy and Security Detection have maintained  there long standing relationship with our company.

During our partnership, we have found Security Detection to be responsible, understanding of our needs and responsive to changes and request.  Their willingness to change, adapt is paramount in an ever changing industry and today’s security climate.

We highly recommend Randy Smith and Security Detection for any of your security needs and welcome any questions you may have about our partnership.

Respectfully
