Since the mid-1990s, Justin has been involved in the metal detection industry, beginning his career with White’s Electronics of the Great Lakes, one of the largest distribution centers for White’s Electronics metal detectors. Working alongside his father, who owned the distribution center, Justin developed a strong understanding of how metal detection technology works while also learning the fundamentals of operating and growing a successful business. This hands-on experience provided the foundation for a career that would eventually become focused primarily on security screening and detection solutions.

As the demand for security metal detection equipment continued to grow, Justin took on an increasingly prominent role in the security side of the business. That growth eventually led to the creation of Security Detection Solutions, formed in partnership with other experienced professionals in the industry. Justin became an owner of the company’s Central Region and has since been involved in the sales, service, deployment, and rental of security screening equipment, including walk-through metal detectors, high-throughput weapons detection systems, and X-ray inspection systems. In addition to working directly with customers, Justin oversees the day-to-day operations and continued growth of Security Detection Solutions’ Central Division.

Throughout his career, Justin has helped provide security screening solutions for some of the country’s most recognizable and high-profile events, including Super Bowls, NBA All-Star Games, and the United Nations General Assembly, along with numerous other major events nationwide. His experience extends beyond temporary event security to permanent security installations for schools, universities, government facilities, public venues, and other organizations seeking dependable screening solutions. With more than three decades of industry experience, Justin brings extensive product knowledge and practical, real-world experience to helping organizations develop security screening programs that are effective, efficient, and appropriate for their individual needs.

Mike White is the Eastern Region Director at Security Detection, bringing extensive experience in the security and weapon detection industry dating back to before the events of September 11, 2001. Throughout his career, Mike has developed a deep understanding of security screening technologies and the evolving needs of organizations seeking effective solutions to protect their people and facilities.

In his role at Security Detection, Mike is responsible for equipment rentals and sales throughout the Eastern region. He works closely with customers to understand their unique security requirements and identify the right equipment and solutions for their needs. His years of industry experience, practical knowledge, and customer-focused approach make him a trusted resource for organizations looking to strengthen their security screening capabilities.

Randy Smith serves as Western Region Director for Security Detection, bringing 36 years of experience in the security industry to his leadership role.Randy oversees all security and detection operations across the Western Region, with responsibility for field operations, team development, client relations, and operational compliance. He ensures that every site, system, and security professional meets Security Detection’s high standards for vigilance, reliability, and professional service.With more than three decades in the industry, Randy is recognized for his hands-on leadership, operational discipline, and client-focused approach. His experience spans personnel management, threat detection, security protocols, and large-scale regional operations. He is committed to building well-trained, accountable teams that deliver proactive protection and peace of mind.Under Randy’s leadership, the Western Region continues to deliver on Security Detection’s core mission: advanced detection, dependable protection, and exceptional service for every client we serve.
