Please allow this letter to serve as a business reference for Security Detection, and their vast array of services.  Security Detection and Randy Smith have been a valued partner of Angels Baseball for over five years, dating back to our original implementation of our Garrett Metal Detectors.  In addition to the 81+ major league baseball games a year, they have also partnered with ABLP on many other events, including Supercross and Monster Jam.

Randy and his team have always been flexible, understanding, and willing to walk us through every option with regards to fan screening, safety, ingress, layout and overall experience of the detection process.  Most recently , we considered making a switch from Garrett magnetometers to Evolv, and because of Security Detections’s expertise, we have now fully integrated Evolv into our ingress flow for all Angel Games and special events.  Our most recent deployment of the new Evolv equipment was during our last four, sold-0ut  Monster Jam shows of February 2022.  Our lines of previous years were shorter than 5 minutes, during a period  when we were tasked with an ingress of 40,000 guest over over the course of one hour and thirty minutes, which was a resounding success.

Angels Baseball is proud to offer one of the best family experiences in baseball.  This is achieved through hiring, training, retention and treating employees like they are part of our extended family.  It is key to our operation that partners are aligned with our mission, and this alone is one of the reasons Randy and Security Detection have maintained  there long standing relationship with our company.
